Fernando Díaz Solís

Fernando has over 20 years of experience in Private Equity for large international funds as well as small local ones. Most of his investment experience is in Spain and the United Kingdom, where he has focused on build ups, LBOs and transformational strategies.

In the past, Fernando worked as an Investment Professional at Dresdner Kleinwort Capital (in 2001) where he supported their portfolio companies. In 2002, he joined Advent. And, in 2016, Fernando spent 5 years in London setting up a Private Equity office for a large Spanish Family office, where he sold a significant part of the portfolio, and organized a transaction and Fund Raising of a leisure project (Ohai Resorts). For two years, Fernando worked as a Strategy Consultant at Oliver Wyman where he supported their Corporate Finance arm. He also acts as an Angel Investor.

Fernando holds a BA in Business Administration from University of Navarra and an Executive MBA from IESE Business School.

In his free time, you can find Fernando spending time as Angel Investor in early stage projects that bring innovation to the table through technology.
